Toronto, ON – August 9, 2011 – Once again, music fans can rock out for FREE at Ontario Place’s new Echo Beach this summer. On Friday August 19 at 4:00 pm, Toronto's own teen-girl rock band, Done with Dolls, will join the ranks with such recent headliners as Sloan and Third Eye Blind as they perform at the city’s hottest and newest beach concert venue.
Done with Dolls is comprised of four talented and exciting 14 and 15 year-old girls who write and perform their own material, play their own instruments and are produced by Canadian super-couple Raine Maida and Chantal Kreviazuk. The up-and-coming quartet has already been featured on the MuchMusic Countdown, was in the Top 20 for Billboard’s Top Emerging Canadian Artists and earlier this year, they sold out a headlining concert at Toronto’s downtown hotspot, The Rivoli.
Fresh from a productive summer of recording, Done with Dolls will be premiering their two new singles, I Don't Need a Boy and Days of the Week at Echo Beach and give fans unlimited access before and after the show for “meet and greets.” The concert is included with free admission to the grounds of Ontario Place throughout the summer, which is presented by CTV.
