Attractions
Attendant
General Responsibilities:
Attractions Attendants engage

Lifeguard
General Responsibilities:
Working outdoors, staff are
responsible for general lifeguard
duties at Ontario Place’s
four waterslides and Water
play children's area. Duties
also include performing basic
pool maintenance and monitoring
traffic flow in to and out
of the water park.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have previous
customer service experience,
and must have at least a
current Bronze Cross Certification
and Canadian Heart and Stroke
CPR (Level C) Certification
(or equivalent).

hired into the Lifeguard positions

complete an in-house lifeguard

Attractions Office Attendant
General Responsibilities:
Working in an office atmosphere, this position is responsible for: answering
inquiries from staff on the phone or in person, radio dispatching, filing,
data entry and generating reports.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have good customer service skills, possess excellent communication
skills, both written and oral, and have proven multi-tasking capabilities.
Excellent administrative and organizational skills are also required. Working
knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Access is an asset.
Food Service Attendant
General Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for providing guest service and safety at the
various on-site food venues. This position is responsible for cash
handling, preparing and serving food ensuring proper cleaning and sanitation
practices are used, as set out by the Ontario Health Department.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have previous customer service and cash handling experience. The
ability to pass federal and provincial security checks. Applicants must be
able to work under minimal supervision and possess the physical stamina to
perform lifting (50 lbs.) Previous food service experience in a fast-paced
environment is an asset.

Marina
Attendant
General Responsibilities:
Marina Attendants are responsible for assisting with the day-to-day
operation of all marine facilities in the two Marinas at Ontario
Place including; assisting customers with boat related issues,
ensuring all marina and adjacent areas are clean and well-maintained
and ensuring the safe operation of a variety of water crafts
including a 25 passenger shuttle boat. Marina Attendants are
also responsible for cash related duties within the retail store
and fuel facilities, as well as the ability to pass federal and
provincial security checks.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess excellent customer service skills, the
ability to work with minimal supervision. Previous boating experience
is required. G2 licence is also required.

Marina
Dock Master
General
Responsibilities:
The Marina Dock Master is responsible for the daily assignment
of vacant slips to visiting boats and the collection of associated
revenue. This position ensures that slip inventory is accurately
monitored and ensures weekly inspections of all marina related
facilities, reporting necessary issues to management. The Marina
Dock Master is also responsible for cash related duties in the
Marina, including the preparation of revenue reports.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess excellent customer service skills and the
ability to work with minimal supervision. Well-developed computer
skills, previous cash handling and boating experience are assets
for this position, as well as the ability to pass federal and

Office Clerk
General Qualifications:
The Business Office Clerk works as part of a team to ensure accurate
processing of daily revenue. This position is responsible for
various cash handling procedures throughout the park, including:
the proper recording of all financial transactions, counting
and recording of all revenue as well as coupons, vouchers, credit/debit
card transactions, gift certificates etc. The Business Office
Clerk also assists in preparing and delivering change orders,
floats, and other financial related documents etc., with the
use of a golf cart to various departments throughout the park.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess excellent problem solving, organizational
and administrative skills. One-year cash experience, excellent
written and oral communications skills, as well as knowledge
of a computerized point of sales cash system are required. A
G2 class driver’s license and good driving record is required
for this position. Applicants must be able to work under minimal
supervision, and the physical stamina to perform moderate to
heavy lifting (approx. 40 lbs), as well as the ability to pass
federal and provincial security checks.

Production Assistant
General Responsibilities:
The Events & Entertainment Production Assistant works as part
of a team to provide production support for all entertainment programs
and special events. Main responsibilities include the set-up, strike
and operation of all events, the daily operation of all entertainment
programs including the use of technical equipment (i.e. audio and
lighting consoles).
Qualifications:
Previous work or volunteer experience in a theatrical or events
environment is mandatory. An educational background in a related
field is an asset. Applicants should have customer service skills,

Aid Crew Member
General Responsibilities:
Working as part of a First Aid Safety Team, you will be responsible
for: responding to all minor and serious medical emergencies,
assisting Paramedics and tracking all treatments by completing
logs and incident reports. This position will also be responsible
for the efficient operation of the first aid facility, maintaining
corporate safety equipment such as, water safety stations and
site first aid kits. This position also requires Crew Members
to patrol and respond efficiently to all areas of the park by
foot or by driving a gator, while displaying excellent guest
service skills at all times.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have a current First Aid and CPR Certificates,
and NLS Certification combined with previous First Aid and water
safety experience. Applicants must possess superior customer
service skills, excellent written and verbal communications skills,
as well as organizational and administrative skills. A G class
license is required. Previous Automated External Defibrillator
experience would be an asset.

General Responsibilities:
The Summer Sales Crew is a team responsible for ensuring group
sales clients have a fantastic experience - from the moment they
call for information until the moment they leave the park after
their picnic or function. Working both indoors and outdoors,
specific responsibilities include: responding to inquiries, booking
groups, maintaining client databases and files, printing and
distributing tickets and information packages, welcoming and
entertaining clients upon arrival and at in-park functions, maintaining
picnic area cleanliness, refereeing volleyball and basketball
and making sure clients are having a great time!
Qualifications:
Applicants must be self-starters who understand that each aspect
of the job responsibilities - from phone inquiries to cleaning
the picnic area - is equally important to the success of the
department. Applicants will be self-confident with a friendly
demeanor and enjoy meeting and entertaining a myriad of different

Assistant
General Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for assisting with general duties
within the Technical Services Department. This includes: the
installation, routine maintenance and repair of sound, lighting,
video, computer and telephone equipment used throughout the park.
Other responsibilities include providing technical support for
special events and attractions and responding to technical problems
as assigned, cabling and other installation work on a regular
basis throughout the season.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have good working knowledge of the installation,
set-up and minor maintenance and repair of electronic and computerized
systems and related devices. The ability to learn new skills
quickly is a necessity, as is flexibility to work in a constantly
evolving and demanding environment. Experience working with sound,
lighting, video, computer and telephone systems and the ability
to perform tasks such as the set-up of a band and trouble shoot
any technical problems is an asset. Knowledge of basic soldering
techniques is required. Well-developed trouble shooting skills
are required to identify problems and ensure they are corrected
in a timely manner. Good communication and guest services skills
are required. The applicant must be self-motivated to work effectively
with minimal supervision and must have a minimum of a class “G2” driver’s
licence.

General Responsibilities:
Warehouse Receiver and Cashiers ensure a safe and efficient warehouse

the accurate record keeping of all inventory transactions and
paperwork flow. Warehouse Receivers will also be expected to
cover Retail Cashier shifts, providing exceptional guest service
as needed which includes reconciling cash at the end of a shift,
monitoring and re-stocking inventory, visual merchandising and
maintaining store cleanliness and assisting with receiving and
pricing of stock at the stores, as needed.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have previous merchandise stocking, customer service
and cash handling experience combined with the ability to work
effectively and efficiently with competing demands. Applicants
should be able to work under minimal supervision and possess
the physical stamina to perform moderate to heavy lifting (up
to 50 lbs). A G2 class driver’s license and good driving
record is required for this position. Previous experience in

Park Services Site Operators
General Responsibilities:
Site Operators are to provide a friendly and hospitable environment for our
guests. They are responsible for the operation of various motorized equipment
used in the overall maintenance of the park. It includes, but is not limited
to: small utility vehicles, golf carts, barge and garbage compactor. These
positions maintain site cleanliness including waterways, roadways and on-site
removal of waste and refuge in order to ensure that the park is clean and
welcoming to guests, inside and out.
Qualifications:

service experience. You must work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced

Rides
and Marine Mechanic’s
Assistant
(TSSA
Amusement Devices
Mechanic Trainee) General Responsibilities:
Mechanic’s Assistants are responsible for assisting the full-time
licensed Marine Mechanic with daily preventative maintenance of
all equipment including the repair of outboard motors, small gas
powered engines such as: Bumper Boats, Cyclone, Whiz Kids and O.P.
Driving School.
Qualifications:
Candidates must have a mechanical and/or electrical background
and knowledge of and the ability to use hand, electrical and
air tools. Individuals must be able to work independently with
minimal supervision. A valid driver's licence with a good driving
record and the ability to swim are required for this position.
A TSSA mechanic in training certificate is an asset. A Toronto
Harbour’s licence is required and can be obtained through
Ontario Place.

Mechanic’s Assistant

Mechanic Trainee)
General Responsibilities:
The Wilderness Adventure Ride (W.A.R.) Mechanic’s Assistant
works alongside our full time W.A.R. Mechanic to ensure the safe
operation of: the Wilderness Adventure Ride, Free Fall, First Flight,
and H20 Generation Station rides and attractions. This position
is responsible for detailed preventative maintenance, daily inspection
of all lifts, boat conveyors, cables, gondolas, hydraulic systems,
gear reducers, and ride safety inspection including all loading
and unloading areas and animation.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have excellent customer service and communication
skills to respond to the changing needs of our customers and
requests from other departments. Candidates must have a mechanical
and/or electrical background and knowledge of and the ability
to use hand tools. Individuals must be able to work independently
with minimum supervision. A valid G2 driver’s licence,
a Harbour’s licence and the ability to swim are required
for this position.
