the ROM’s Rocks & Minerals
Lab Lesson.
The ROM’s immensely popular
hands-on lab allows students to examine
a wide range of rocks and minerals.
Students will investigate more than
40 specimens of rocks and minerals,
identifying examples of igneous, sedimentary
and metamorphic rock, and performing
tests to identify particular minerals.

lesson.
Students will examine artifacts of
daily life and popular religion in
China from the past 2000 years, with
a concentration on the period since
the 1500s. They will have a hands-on
opportunity to examine genuine artifacts,
some as old as the Han Dynasty, two
thousand years ago. From March, 2006,
explore magnificent artifacts from
the Shang Dynasty right through to
modern times in the ROM’s beautiful
new Chinese Galleries. |
